Wulff “1815 Series”
Long-Nose Putter #1

This Wulff long-nose putter is from the first, four-club batch of featherie clubs I made in March 2024 of castelo boxwood, which is a South American hardwood. The leading edge on the sole is made of ram’s horn and the weight at the back of the club is poured and hammered lead.

As mentioned in the video above, this putter is from my 1815 Series, which features original designs inspired by the characteristics of featherie clubs and makers from the early 19th century. Long-nose clubs from this era were generally larger and heavier than the long-nose clubs made famous by clubmakers like Hugh Philp of St. Andrews toward the middle of the 19th century. So, if you prefer a heavier putter with a wider body and deeper face this just may be the putter for you.

Specs for the putter shown here:

  • 11 degrees of loft

  • G+ swing weight

  • 37 inches long
